Unhappy characters

It's not too important, but I've noticed that it's much harder to get your little characters to crack a smile now. I use the guy with the visor and the blue hair, and in the last version hey would be beaming if I got 60% of the high score on Salad for you Tuesday (to pick and example), yet now he still frowns when I hit 97%...
No worries. I just don't want the poor little guys to be unhappy. That would be sad.

I agree.

I use one of the girls, get a 99%, and they still look like someone just ran over their dog.

it's based on how many perfects/goods/boos/misses you get and what your max combo is

nothing to do with scores

Ok. I play the Mario level and my character doesn't seem real happy. There are like 5 different frowns and only one happy face.

I just got only 3 goods with the rest perfect on the mario level. My character could have just lost their best friend from what the picture looks like.

If the expressions go by the percentage total, then that hacked score in there makes all the scores give the characters frowns.

I've noticed it's hard to make my character smile anymore too. But sometimes he has this >=\ face like "yeh I just pwnd that song."

I honestly don't know if it's percentage based, but it looks like the "somewhat happy" expressions you could get before .65 aren't even accessible anymore. (I've got "100%" of the high score on lv4 and lv5 songs without quite reaching the high score tables, and yet I still get the meh face) The "really excited" ones only show up when you get a high score, and my best gusss is with the addition of the crying expression for doing absolutely horrible in .65 all the expressions you get are one step worse than the ones you got before.
