Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
Well, I guess the 11.98 could be believable. Just send me some results. When you posted the 27 for the 200, that was my main concern of bs'ing.

Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
Meh, I suck, 4:53 is my best mile currently, but by the end of outdoor I should be in the low 4:40s. And emccky, 1:53 is really good for the 800.

Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
hey this thread is pretty much gone now but my times have gotten better so i'll post.
100m: 11.90 200m: 24.31 (tremdous splits for me. 12.15's each) long jump: 17' 9 1/2" So yeah that's my years best so far. Give me some feedback if that's good or bad or w/e for a freshman. o yeah and skik u were talking about a 6.2 or 6.4 55m dash thing. Yes that would kill mine. i did a 55m indoor dash, not hurdles. |

Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
Not bad for a Freshman, I might have been a little bit faster but it's still pretty good. I'm actually slower this year than I was my Sophmore year because since then I have gained a bunch of muscle weight. I'm still fast as hell though :P

Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
League finals are today but I didn't make it because I suck. This freshman who runs the mile in 4:53 broke his toe yesterday >.> For anyone who knows triple jump, there was this one guy at prelims who tripled 46 ft. We were like omgwtfbbq.

I beat my personal best for the 100m last week; it used to be like 10.57 and I got it down to 10.47 :P. It may not seem like much, but when you are trying to break meet records, it's a big difference. |

I think the best person I know runs it at like a 4:15.
Long Jumped for my first time yesterday, 18'5''. I hope to improve next year as the season is done. We won our league again with back to back undefeated seasons. Yay. |

Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
hey guys, regionals tomorrow and i'm going in with a 24.31 200m time. not seated very high unfortunately 29th out of 40. It's a very difficult league meet considering we won our conference and i'm our third fastest varsity 200m runner and still ranked 29th. o well. Maybe i'll be 1st lane in a slow heat, then i'll look good at least On a better note, my 400m relay team is ranked 11th so we have a better chance. More after the meet

Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
Yeah, 24.3 my fastest 200 time this year as well. I'm not even going to attempt sectionals though, the top time on my team is a 22.3.
60 sec 400IH is pretty decent. I haven't done them yet because of an injured hip flexor on the trail leg, but the top guy hit a 57.8. Can't wait for indoor. |

Re: The official Track and Field thread 06.
I have no idea what the kid that runs the amazing mile time is, I've never seen him run or seen him at a meet, only seen his times up on the schools website =/
I just ran in a meet last week and got a great 200m time, 22.79. I was pretty stoked when I got it, I think it's a PR. Long jumped 22-4, slept through my 110Hurdles race, skipped the 4x100m because I'm the only fast kid, and got a nice FAT 100m time of 10.69. (Crushed my old FAT time of 11.2) Oh and I did the shot put as well and "put it" 36-7 lol. |
