Dream Theater/LTE would make some good FFR music. Shame I don't really know what I'm doing with the editor.
No, its not that, the editor is simple. Shame I don't know what I'm doing with the rhythm and stuff.

Dunno. I'd say the FF Boss Battle/ Culex (From Super Mario RPG!!!!) is a great one too.

Xenogears. Best.
I have a thread SOMEWHERE in the General Video games section on it.

Final Fantasy VI has the best soundtrack of any Final Fantasy game. Also noteworthy are FFIV and FFX.
FFVII's soundtrack is amazing for the "story" parts of the game, but because the "dungeon music" is pretty poor (especially for Uematsu) the soundtrack is for the large part overrated. |

FFVII had the best battle, boss battle, and final boss battle music of any FF game ever made. And there's no denying that. The world map music wasn't too bad either. All the rest wasn't anything special, but hey, you hear the battle and boss battle songs more than anything else, so they should be the best ones.

I like music from FFVIII... I know no one likes that game, well, alot of people dont... But i think they have the best battle music, and a few other songs from that one are great(like the one im doing).... Though i do not remmeber much about the music in FFIV ...

I actually like FFVIII a lot. I've played through it just as many times as I have FFVII. That was the beginning of the decline in the quality of FF music though... (IMO) =(
FFVIII music was still pretty good, but something just seems missing when I'm playing it.

Yeah, Zeroumous came out of left field.
And, BigMac, if you can get a picture of Squall on that landing boat, while it is still in the water, with the sund behind him, that would be cool. Mal

These dates are from the US releases (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sort of a Final Fantasy fanatic) FF1 = 1989 - NES - (Also in 2002 for the PSX release of FFOrigins) FF2 = 2002 - PSX - FFOrigins FF3 = Never released in the US FF4 = 1991 - SNES - Released on the SNES under the name FF2 and re-released with FFChronicles in 2001) FF5 = 1999 - PSX - Released for the first time in the US packaged in FFCollection FF6 = 1994 - SNES - It was called FF3 for the SNES on the US release and was re-released in 1999 with FFCollection FF7 = 1997 - PSX FF8 = 1999 - PSX FF9 = 2000 - PSX FF10 = 2001 - PS2 FF10-2 = 2003 (hopefully) - PS2 FF11 = 2003 (It just came out the other day) - Released on the PC. 2004 release stated for PS2 I'll have to agree with everyone that FF6 is definately the best. I hope this clears up any confusion. |
