Re: MapleStory
I got a lvl 50 cleric. I feel noob still though. I play on Scania so if anyone wants to meet up sometime, lets play together.

Re: MapleStory
Actually, they might make a joke out of it, but I think it'd be great.
So long as the advance is at 30 instead of 10. There has to be something challenging about it that makes it better.

Re: MapleStory
The advance is at ten. You go to Chef in Lith Harbour to get the job change. Three of the skills, which are actually insanely good I'd love to have a super beginner as another character just to get better drops, are:
Double Shot Attack with 2 death blow, 10% chance of killing boss monster in one blow Drop Rate Increase Increase the drop rate at of rarest items. Increase drop rate by 20% when mastered. Beginner's Mark Temporarily Increase the exp gain from each monster. Can be cast without a party. All master level 20. A MapleSEA exclusive! In the next patch, take on the newest Job Class - SuperBeginner! Preview the SuperBeginner in action! Be in Lith Harbor, Channel 20, this Saturday at 2:30pm (GMT+8) and watch the GMs demo this new Job! Just like normal Job Advancement, you will need to do a quest in order to take on the mantle of a SuperBeginner. At Level 10, find the new SuperBeginner Job Master, Chef at Lith Harbor. He will ask you to prove your courage with a simple question and confirm that you want to be a SuperBeginner (There is no way to undo the job change). Say "YES" and you will be awarded a small boost to your HP / MP and gain 1 Skill Point to be added into your SuperBeginner Skill Book. The SuperBeginner has all the benefits of the beginner class including cheaper travel rates by Taxi and no loss of EXP in the event of dying! But there's MORE! |

Re: MapleStory
It's a joke.
By the way, can anyone give me a clue as to how I'll fair against 3rd job advance guy? Will I need MG or not? What kind of damage range will he probably have on me?

Squeek was quite a bit higher than 70 though. I suppose that, like Noah and I agreed, I'll at the very least be able to take him with MG on. I was just thinking that he would actually be a challenge (ie like rog-esque damage range).

Re: MapleStory
Job advance videos:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trar6...0job%20advance (IL mage (the ice sound is from Starcraft, rofl, and it's also the same noise as Magic Armor wtf)) (btw, this movie takes a long time before he actually fights the guy) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHI93...0job%20advance (fire mage (listen to how bland fire arrow sounds. D: It sucks) (PS: I'm stronger than him, and smarter cuz I know wiz pots don't stack with med) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsnkc...0job%20advance (Cleric...one that is at 70 and use MG like you will). To conclude: 800-850 or so magic damage (all of it can be dodged with easy) 120-130 bump damage with invincible on 18x bump without invincible In other words, you'll be fine. I still say the macis look harder than the boss itself. Also, I think it'd be nice if we could go together when we do it so we can exchange med/bless (and perhaps haste if Jason tags along =P) for a little boost at the beginning. Seems like a lot of people do that.... PS: Jason, you really like posting old pics, don't you? XD EDIT: Monkey, we may help you, but since we're all above the lowest levels we can't efficiently train you. Also, warriors don't require much funding. If you make a spearman and stick to it long enough to get Hyberbody, though, we will all love you for it. ;D

BTW, I'm 98 %. I had to leave on thursday to go to maine where I am currently posting. I will level before the weekend is over. Then, I'll spend the next level getting the stuff for thorns/looking for steely(lol)/training at cellions/lioneers.
