About the word "pwned"...

How do you say it? "Pawned" or "Owned" or "Powned"? Or something really odd like Snufflepuffy?

I used to say it like Powned, now I say pawned.

I just say it as (p-oa-n-d) Where did it originate neway? as far as im concerned it came from Cstrike (counter strike)

No one likes my "pawned?" Think about it, your playin chess with an old man in the park, he messes up and you use your pawn to kill his knight or something, then you can get up and shout "Pawned your arse old man!!!" and run away!

hey, what does it mean anyway? i mean i kno what it means, but what does it actually stan dfor...or is pwnd even an appbreviation? i knew it was the name of a secret song last beta...

Pwned was a common mispelt way of saying "owned" which spread like butter on a fat mans bread on most all online games and chats.

It showed up many years ago, shortly after the word 'owned' started being used. pwned is a typo of owned (the o and the p are right next to eachother), nothing more, nothing less.

The funny thing is that nobody seems to realize that it's a typo and has something to do with 'new leet' or something.
