Dr. IAAW says:
"If you got married and had a son, would you expose him to Stepmania before he became 12? Just wondering." |

I'd have him/her on the pad before out of diapers.

If things go the way they might, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel my baby kick, I'd feel him tapping an imaginary keypad in my uterus.

WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THESE NEW USERS. They all must be one person.
Would I expose my son to StepMania? Probably not. What would probably happen is he would see me playing SM and would ask what the hell I'm doing. I'd tell him, and ask if he wanted to try it out. |

I'd let him/her do what he or she wants but I'd monitor their online activities until I trusted that they won't get involved with stupid shit. If they don't use proper grammar online they'll get punished.
Hahaaaaaaa jk. But i'd be mad. We'd have to have a "talk".

I remember having a conversation related to this in #a0.com once.
I think I declared that I would begin training my kid in SM at a young age, and have him practice every day of his life while growing up. Then, when he had a kid, he would do the same for him. This would continue until, in a few eons, my family line evolved a new, more SM adept muscular structure for the hand. Once this was done, my family line would build a time machine (the secrets of doing so I will encrypt within SM simfiles that I pass down as family heirlooms), and use it to come to the present. They will then use their evolved muscular structure to easily take over the world and deliver it to me. At which point I would humbly pass on the honor to Tass, who would then assume all of the world's debt. Then I would eat some Tim's Cascade Sour Cram and Onion potato chips FROM THE FUTURE. ~fin~

I wouldn't be surprised at all if I was still playing StepMania myself at that time in my life. >_>
If I was then I'm sure he'd see it and wonder what the hell it is.

Most definitly, what kind of thread is this? What would be the danger of doing it?

Would I expose my sin/doughter to SM at a young age?
I would show it to him/her and let thme decide if they like or not. If they dont like it I will be upset though. But it would be there choice though. If they did like it I would make him/her practice at least an hour a day(it wouldn't matter when as long as they do it). Oh and another thing. If they loved it I wouldn't allow them to play SM until all of their chores, homework, and dinner are done. I eat dinner at 3-4 p.m. just so you know.
