Technically speaking, you're very right. Where my hands are, I have four keys available to my left hand. Four keys. These are Jump/Tele/HP Pots/Lit. On my right, I have movement, as well as a couple of skills - Del (a giant key for me) is my MC, and PageDown is my MG. I also have MP Pots on PageUp. An alright setup for now, but when I rack up a few more skills (Cold Beam in a matter of levels, Med, etc.) I'm going to have to completely redo my setup. Probably will be easier to switch now, actually.

Also, Greek sounds better than step difficulties. Besides, lots of the people that access the forums don't even play FFR/SM, and lots of the ones that do only do so minimally.

Omg. At your level your Max MP increase should already be maxed out. I maxed out mine asap and I had 613 max mp when I was your level. Sheesh. Max out Max MP increase first, then MP recovery next, then claw, then magic guard last for me.

How you up your stats up to you =/

Yeah, you really screwed up your skills.

You should have only enough points in MP Recovery to get Max MP Increase, and you should have maxed that ages ago. Also, you should have enough points into Magic Claw for it to be decent already.

Jason:
1) You act like the default setup for FPSes is with the arrow keys. I haven't played an FPS with that default setup since Duke Nukem, so I dunno what the hell YOU'VE been playing.
2) What's efficient for one person is not always efficient for others. For example, some people hit left shift/control/alt, while others hit the ones on the right. Being left-handed, I hit the ones on the left, and since all my main actions (attacking, jumping, etc) are on the left, it makes sense that my attack keys are ctrl and shift.
3) I like having my pots on insert, home, etc because of the quick slow window. I like being able to see how many of each pot I have left so I'll know if I need to restock any time soon. Personally, I don't understand why somebody would have that window minimized. That's like choosing to play without a HUD in an FPS game so you just kinda guess when you need to reload. It'd be pretty retarded.
4) My main keys (attack, jump, pickup) are on ZXC. When typing, hands tend to rest on ASDF, which is right above ZXC. Thus, in the split second it takes for me to hit enter, my left hand has moved up and is ready to type. I've only died while typing in freak accidents, like when one weak monster knocks me into a group of big ones or when I'm not really paying attention.
5) It's not always great to have all your keys crammed together. For instance, my magic guard key is Insert, which is a bit out of the way. This is because I rarely need MG, and turning it on accidentally is a pain in the ass, because HS.net is wrong and you can't disable buffs by clicking on them.
6) Why argue about key setups? That's like arguing about how somebody arranges their clothes in their drawers. Yeah, maybe having all shirts in one drawer and only pants in another makes sense to you, but maybe another person puts their clothes in by outfit so they only have to open one drawer on any given day. It's all a matter of preference, which is a matter of opinion, which is a matter of YOU CAN'T BE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, so just hush.

lol, restart. You should have followed a guide. While there's nothing wrong with getting MP Recovery instead of claw early on (I did it because I'm a cheapass and hated potting), you have several screwed up by not getting MP Increase. You cannot right this wrong simply by adding to it now, so seriously, restart. And don't worry, level 18 is not a big deal. Also, don't delete this character. Make a new one, and once you get to the same point, transfer your clothes over so you don't have to pay for new ones.

About the guild:
Greek letters have absolutely jack shit to do with FFR. Song difficulties is for DDR/SM, but at least that's related. FFR isn't a frat or something, guys. Whatever we make the ranks, they oughta at least be related to FFR somehow. Hell, we're a forum, so why not call the ranks Admin, Moderator, Chat Mod, Normal User, Moogy? That last rank would be especially nice, seeing as how he hates this game so much. Seriously though, Greek letters? Screw that.

2) Huh? What you said makes no sense.... Since you're left handed, you say you hit stuff with the left side of your left hand? Or have to be on the far left side of the keyboard? Huh? Main fingers are index and middle, regardless of what handed you are...
3) I'm a sin. I know how many pots I need before my stars run out. I repot when they run out. That gives me the time frame. Otherwise I'd have it open.
4) No movement of hands > moving hands, even if it's slightly. How many benefit? Probably very little, but still..
5) Obviously, which is why I have CC placed on page up...
6) It's advice. Take it or toss it aside. I know you tend to ignore other's advice, like mine, quite often. You can do what you want, since you're "don't say I told you so" and "I decided to try this on my own not because of what you had said" instead of "thanks, I should have gave your advice an actual try sooner". I'm trying to help, not trying to say I'm better than everyone.

Why I said something about being left-handed or right-handed: A right-handed person who normally uses right shift/ctrl/alt might put their pots on those keys, since the right hand usually does the potting. I stuck my attacks on those keys instead, since my left hand does the attacking and since I'm a lefty I'm used to using the lefthand ctrl/alt/shift keys.

Anywho, the main thing about a control system is whether or not the person is comfortable using it, not whether it's the most efficient. Who cares if you're able to get to typing faster or if your keys are in locations that make sense if getting to those locations bothers you? I was fine with the default setup for a while, but I noticed that if I played for too long, the awkward way I had to hold my hand bothered me and kinda hurt, which is why I changed it to what it is now. Moving my fingers up 2 rows is easier for me then moving then down 1, which is why my keys start at the bottom (ZXC) instead of in the middle. It's more of a comfort thing, and I think you fail to see that. Don't act like this is the same as Jr. Pepes vs Jr. Yetis or that I'm constantly ignoring your advice. This is personal opinion, and I can only think of that one instance where I was hardheaded, and afterwards I did admit that you were right all along.

Also, moving from the arrow keys to enter takes longer than it does to move from ZXC to ASDF, so there is no time difference there, since my left hand is on ASDF before the chat is even active and able to be typed in.

I dont think im gonna restart just because a few skills arent maxed out. My claw is at 10 so i dont have to use 20 mp to cast. im fine right now with my mana increase. it goes up by 30 every ten seconds. Im not gonna start over for a small mistake like that.

....Well I can honestly say I didn't see that coming. As for rankings, I still think the Greek Alphabet SOUNDS better.... but as EB said, it has nothing, not even remotely, to do with FFR... And "Standard Member" would actually be the highest non-leading members, but it would sound like an mid-rank. No offenses meant, Afro, but we should make them original and cool sounding. FFR doesn't give way for interesting things ranks-wise, so we'll make something cool. Which sounds better: "I'm an Omega of FFR!" or "I'm a 3rd Class of FFR!"

I was considering Overlord, Commander, etc. but that's extremely dull and everyone else will have it. But Greek ranks sound cool and have some actual reasoning behind them.

Also, when are we going to start this thing? I'm willing to lead it, since I play MS a lot and do not see myself quitting unless I die or something, which is unlikely since I have very few enemies that wish to take my life. We need to make some decisions so we can get this thing rolling.
