Many people play, therefore it is not dead, therefore you are wrong. Discussed.

DDR isn't dead... The DDR forum is dead... I think Konami needs to hurry their ass up with another version of ddr for the arcades. But, this forum is dead and I think someone needs to delete it and merge it with general video games and other music games...

Konami is japanese nd those goddamn japs dont give a shit about the americans so i doubt he will make another mix I also heard the reason they dont is because its dead in japan they all play like IIDX whatever that is ANYWAY Its DEFINATELY NOT DEAD in america more nd more people r just discovering it every day and I still play it nd so do a lot of my friends and like 75 % of all asians play so yeah its still goin pretty well and i bet it will for maybe even 3 more years. and even if it doesnt ITG is pretty popular too. |

1) Do not say "jap"
2) Konami is a company, not a person. 3) What the fuck are you talking about? |

Jap is an offensive term... I'm Japanese you know. Also, DDR is not getting more and more popular. Around my area, DDR machines are being taken out constantly to a point now that there is only 1 machine in my area. And I live in California. My point was just that the forum is dead and that DDR is dying.

Actually, I live in Northern California in a small city called Fremont... I went to the mall yesterday and they also took out the DDR machine there... That's one less for this area too. At least this mall was sorta far away, but it was the only other one a reasonable time away. I think DDR IS dying and there is nothing we can do except hope that Konami makes some new stuff for DDR...

^Horray for bad grammar and stupidity! DDR, I think, has had a good run. All good things come to an end, and DDR has its end in plain sight...

I don't think it's dead in some areas. You should see Paramount Canada's Wonderland...

There are a lot less players around now than there were, but I think as long as theres one person playing ddr in the world, it isn't dead.

So you're saying that if one person is playing day and night on a machine in his basement (I knew a guy that had two), it's not dead? It's dead when there's a few dedicated people left playing it in very sparsely located machines.
DDR is not dead yet, but it will be soon enough. It has nothing going for it anymore. I still play it, but not as often as I used to. I'd say DDR is dying, but ITG is still strong (at least for now), because it's newer and it has more to offer. If Konami hasn't put out any machines for years now, I doubt they will. My prediction is that within two years, DDR will be hard to find and you will find very few people who still play it.
