i'm guessing to unlock songs, but when i go and try to purchase songs, i don't know how.. i clicked on the numbers by the thing where it says "song not available", i clicked on the words, i did everything i can think of..

To answer your question, credits are used only to unlock secret songs in the secret genre. There are no actual songs to purchase yet. There will be as soon as I get around to finishing the first level that you can purchase.
