Default "boo" scoring issues

maybe i'm the only one who gets annoyed when playing a song like silence or caprice and finishing with a decent combo and under 20 boos only to look at my opponents score to find that he scored 1000+ combo with 1200 boos.. of course he will win out because the benefits he gets from mashing keys (combo) exceeds the negative affect the (-10) reduction for a boo takes, even if it happens 2000 times.

i think ffr should either dock more points for boos, or set a limit of x amount of boos a combo can withstand before it breaks. for example a combo starts, but by the time it reaches 200 the player has accumulated x amount of boos during the span of this combo, and it ends.

just a thought

Yes. Combo's multiply your score with the score you got from the song. But I think boos cause you to lose your combo. I'm not sure, I haven't played FFR in forever. Anyways, it could also mean that that person hacked.

FFR has problems with hackers. Don't worry about it.

Actually, you don't lose your combo for a boo if you get the next one right (try it on something easy or during a slow part, hit a key when you're waiting for the next beat or arrow.)

But, it's impossible to hold a combo while getting a boo every other hit. You'd have to just be hitting all four arrows simultaneously really fast and that makes my computer beep at me so I don't think it's possible.

If it weren't for the boos.... well, that's another story, but I like the "Boo"'s in the game too

I think boos shouldnt be in the game at all.
And there should also be a 2x speed mod.

The problems are combo affects the total score way more than PA, and easy to keep combo with mashing.

I think boos on FFR aren't what they should be..
boos should be something combo breakers with the timing between averages and misses.

I hate accidently hitting an arrow before starting and getting a boo. It's annoying as hell!
