My lovely afternoon

Every Saturday I have a hockey game for my Ball Hockey League. Well today started out pretty good, very wet and slushy though..anyways..

So we're tied 0-0 and we get into the 2nd period. We start scoring like mad. I even got the 4th goal

So we're up like 5-1 by the end of the 2nd.

3rd Period comes around and it's like 7-1 now and well I ran towards the sideline for the ball while the opposing guy did the same but only when he stopped to take the ball off of me he smashed my face with the end of his stick and well here's the lovely result.

Me = Hit in the face (really reaally hard) I hit the ground, spewing blood from my mouth and choking on my own blood cause I'm in kind of shock from bleeding so much. Anyways.. so there's blood everywhere and I'm extremely calm and everything is ok, taking it like a man you know.

10mins later I'm at the clinic getting 4-5 stitches in my face.

Here's 2 pics, not exactly the best but as you can see quite disgusting.

So anyways, my dad is also in the same league cause it's Chambly Ball Hockey (my home town Chambly, our little 18+ local league). My dad is kinda furious that every week there's somebody always gunning to hurt me and well made some phone calls and etc etc etc.. We'll see how everything goes next saturday.

Damn that sucks. Atleast you guys won... You did win right?

And I know the feeling, my u18 soccer team is playing in a 19+ mens league this season (indoor) and nearly all of the teams are trying to kill us because we are better than all of them. Big, fat, old people with bad tempers taking out highschool kids into boards isn't fun... but atleast we are in first place.

Do you get to take painmeds ... Or do you just wait for it to heal ... Or whatever ... And are you goign to play hockey with stitches in your face?

Doesn't hurt, just can't kiss my girlfriend for a week or so and I can barely eat anything because the gums above my 2 front teeth are so bruised they are literally black. Also it's a bad habit to lick my lips during winter and I keep thinking there is loose skin on my lip when it's really the knots the doctor made with the stiches. =\

That's why I love being a goalkeeper psycho!!! Especially in indoor football!
