Needless to say, I didn't do too well on this song. If only I had a third leg.

That's called hands. You hit the pad with your hands. A third leg is not needed.

well, thats hardly sanitary. I mean, what if someones shoe had dog-poo
on it and they went on the pad and then you touch it with your hands.
