And So It Goes
Ok, game over, Chardish gone, hope everyone's happy, I knwo this isn't the place for this, but oh well.
Post Day 1, the game wasn't flawed, bevcause at that point you have 3 groups with completely conflicting issues, 2 groups want to kill the other boss, but the 3rd group auto loses the game if that happens, so you have to pander to their whims and work around that to earn a victory... I feel I had that done already, but so be it. Lets just take some time off and think in general about how we act and who it effects

RE: And So It Goes
I call for at least a 2-3 week recess from TWG until people can realize it's just a game on the internet.

RE: And So It Goes
I don't know how many people are that worked up about it, ld. Just chardish it seems.
But yeah, blah, it's not like the third group would have any real power. They wouldn't be able to influence votes, and it would just be whoever had the most votes on the two remaining teams that wins. It's not like they could be like "everyone vote for someone else". It was an interesting game and I had fun bossing people around, but the bosses knowing each other doomed it. Also, there wasn't a clear cut reason to post in the thread, and even with the bosses not knowing each other, I doubt there would be. Far too many people wanted tribal victory to pretend that they were going for innocent victory. |

RE: And So It Goes
This is 2 games in a row that the host has gotten EXTREMELY upset because of the players in their games...
People got upset because Whorli kicked some people out.... led to others quitting and killing the game and the host quitting TWG. People got upset because Chardish set an ending time to the day and he stuck to it... then after a bunch of people got upset that they didn't post on time, he relented and re-opened the thread which changed the result of the day.... and then other people got upset because of it. Killed the game and led to the host banning himself from FFR. People need to stop being so harsh on the hosts... they set the rules ahead of time. Don't go and piss them off causing them mental breakdowns because you don't like something they did. Piss them off if they CHANGE their rules after stating one thing and then doing another. Either way... someone informed me that they were told the thread was re-opened because I locked it the 1st time. That is COMPLETELY UNTRUE. I haven't locked a thread where I wasn't asked to since about twg7 or 8 when I was first requested not to lock threads anymore without someone telling me to. Besides, I posted and when the thread re-loaded, it was locked. I didn't have time to lock it from when I posted to when it was locked.

Wow. I was gone for the weekend and just got back. So now I'm like wut
Apparently people have problems realizing when the internet is just the internet, and stop taking it so seriously.

RE: And So It Goes
I'm in the same boat here as Hans. I had a robotics comp early yesterday morning, then I saw the Harry Potter movie. Last night I checked out the thread, then proceded to tear apart my computer because there is a recall on the motherboard or something. Right now, I finally got this other piece of crap franken-comp to work and I find the thread deleted or something. I can understand him getting pissed and ending the game or something in the case of what Tass said, but why delete the thread?
PS Tass, you gonna count this as a win too?

Me = boss
Afro = hitman Tps and nForcer = guardians (why did blah attack nforcer?) Whorli and Hans = safetymen I knew fish was blah's hitman, and that guido was on blah's team... also suspected eb and kilga. plus blah is 5/6. Knew LD was on Talismans... and Jurs too...

RE: Re: RE: And So It Goes
Actually, I was blah's hitman and I went for Fish last night. We went for LD on Night 1.
Kilga and nick were our guardians, eb and Vash were our safetymen. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

RE: Re: RE: And So It Goes
So talisman lied to me about Fish... that whore. Well, interesting.... then Talisman went for my guy night 1, when he told me he was going for you Guido... I went for Fish night 1. I'm guessing he was Talisman's hitman then?
And, I wasn't ultra-wrong. Only on Fish... but I knew Guido or Fish had to be the hitmen, based on neither dying... although that is faulty logic as Talisman didn't go for Guido. But, still accurate... I was right about Kilga and eb, although that was fairly obvious. And I knew Guido from Talisman. I wonder why he lied to me about Fish. I guess cause he knew I'd attack Fish and he wouldn't get killed. That bastard.

RE: Re: RE: And So It Goes
Noah had me figured out.
:( The stupid part is that I'd be just as much for a team win if I weren't the hitman. I was totally serious about wolf wins being more meaningful. So really, the only reasoning he had for thinking I was the hitman was wrong, but he was right anyway.
