okay, im not reading 2 pages of posts so im going to ignore them and reply to the initial topic.
You are an idiot. If you cannot read the arrows, you should not play the song. Leave them to the experts like Arch0wl, Hyro, Reach, me, and other people who do not have slow-ass brains. Button smashing only gets you hundreds of boos and averages and nothing else. Sure, it gets you through the song, but the game is a test of skill. Not some contest where every fucktard wants to be the best so he smashes random buttons then brags about it so even I can flame them through a whole paragraph like this. There. That is the ultimate flame. Getting flamed by me. You suck. And don't post retarded topics about button smashing again. Oh yeah. And your sig emphasizes my point on your retardidity. You shouldn't malign people who are trying to learn this tedious task of mastering the harder songs. You may be adept in this already, but you were once unable to beat those songs. Also the speed of the brain is always 3.00x10(to the 8th power) m/s, the speed of light, the speed of our brain impulses from synapse to synapse so technically all our brains go at the same speed. What I do for the faster notes is try to nail a sequence of 4 or 8 at a time, or simply ignore every other note. It doesn't work very well as far as combos go, but it feels better than getting through it by pure luck.
Also, does anybody else sorta space out when they play? I've noticed I'm a lot better when I just let my fingers react to the song, and not try to conciously think about it.... odd... |

As for key smashing, do whatever you have to do in order to beat a level if that makes you feel better, but do try to read the arrows and improve as key smashing only helps you beat levels and not much else..
