what are stepmania requirements on a computer?
i tried dling it on my laptop to get back into it, but for some reason, it says i have a bad video card...meanwhile, my laptop is only a few years old.
any place i can go to update or dl a better version for a video card or am i forced to buy one?

It means that your laptop's video card probably isn't 3D accelerated. Meaning, you can't do anything about it. You could try Dance With Intensity, but I doubt it would work.

when i said years, i meant months
 but what would that mean its not 3d accelerated? ive seen laptops run stepmania before...

Well, it depends on the type of laptop you have. Your laptop's graphic card may be a standard one not meant for gaming. Without 3D acceleration, you can't play SM.
