MULTIPLAYER BUGS ~ VERSION 2

Just encountered this'un... I play this person on MP, and then they pick a song, and the loading color is yellow. I pick it as well, the loading color is green for me, still yellow for them. I get bored, and click Dance, canceling the song, and repick it again. However, by this time, their loading color is green and they've started the game (apparently the game thought I was green still). Once the song loads for me, I join in about 20 seconds late, I think. I play normally. At the end of the song, I find out that they quit? T__T I don't know what it looked like on the other end, but I totally didn't mean to do that...

More diagnostic info: I use IE for FFR (used to use FF, but it got laggy and all, so I use IE for FFR), and am on WinXP :/

Has anyone even tried to fix the connecting problem?? Ive tried to clear my cookies, my temp internet foler, and clearing my history, but none of those hins seem to work. And I also tried turning off my firewall, and again that doesnt work. I really want to play MP but I cant even press GO. Help would be muchly appreciated.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE MULTIPLAYER, OPTIONAL FEILDS WILL BE ACTIVE!!!!!!!!!!
I havnt been playing multi player, cause I hate playing the game in upward feild. I only like the down flowing feild.
I really wish ffr could get on fixing the playing feilds so we can use all of them in multiplayer.

There are two things you need to do

well, i've seen about 10 people say that they cant connect to multiplayer, but there is absolutely no admin/staff response to the problem. I have this problem too, and it really sucks. I'd really appreciate and update on the solution to the problem - "we're looking into it" "we have no idea" "you're on your own" or whatever... it would just be nice to know that this is a recognized problem... of course, nicer to know if there's a solution, but i'll take what i can get, i suppose.

when im in multiplayer today what it does is: kicks me out like evry 5 or so minutes about 5 times, then the 5th time it says im banned but lets me back in after 30 minutes

its done this 3 times today and is really frustrating because i have NO idea why its happening.

So just wondering if theres anything I can or any1 can do about it?

i have a problem with my rank. no matter how many people i play and beat it doesnt move. the bar or the number doesnt change and i was wondering if there isnt a way for me to fix it someone could look at it.

Ok everyone, listen.

First, look at the browser you are using, and clear your cache.

If you use IE, this means go to your options, and delete all temp files and cookies.

If you use FF, just go to options and hit clear cache.

Next, make sure you log into the main site. This combined with the clearing of the cache should fix everyone's credit problems.

If you can't connect to MP, do the clearing of the cache, and check your firewall. Try disabling if needed. There shouldn't be a prblem.

@ Hoochan, try a different browser, there is no reason as to why you can't connect, especially if you did what you said you did.

@ the people who say there rank isn't recording. Clear your cache, exit your browser, access the site once more and make sure you log in. Creating a new account is the worse case scenario, but that shouldn't be necessary.

@ snowskate-Multiplayer fields, I think, are going to be activated when 3rd style is released, which is set for late april.

Nova, the only reason you would get kicked would be for excessive spamming.

@ leftylink-that seems to be an error with the coding of the system, it has happened to me multiple times as well. I'm not sure if that can be fixed, just don't cancel your loaded song.

@rice-If your problem hasn't already been corrected, which it probably has, just clear your cache. It was probably just a server lagging error at the time.

It is apparently possible to get into the MP server as any ID and/or level. This could lead to some very interesting impersonations. The font used by the impersonators is slightly different than the true MP font.

Sometimes, i've clicked a username to message him in the chat, only to be taken to an empty room, then be told "this user is already in the room!", making me go back to the lobby. Sometimes after this, all the names of people in the lobby are shown as "undefined".

Also, there is a glitch allowing others to impersonate other players in game chat. (Not waiting lobby). It makes their username and rank appear just like someone else's. I don't know how this exploit works, but it's harassing and annoying when others pretend to be me and say crude comments. I've been mocked by guest 235813 twice now.

Players can somehow freeze their MP game. They usually go idle, prompting their opponent to eventually leave. It counts as a win for the glitcher because the opponent left in the middle of the game. Also, if they stay in the room with the game frozen, then anyone else that comes in and leaves gives the glitcher another free win.

Is there an ignore button for flooders in the lobby on MP? This one guy, named Yyy_yyy_yyy keeps flooding for hours on end, and it'd be useful to have a user ignore in MP.

There isn't a way to put ignore buttons for spammers, but there ARE chat mods... i think. And also, you can keep spammers out of rooms that you make by either setting spectators to 0, or making it passworded and telling the person that you want to play with the password required to access the room. That is really all you can do as of now. I'm pretty sure that advancements will be made in 3rd Style, set to be released by April 31st.

I've been playing FFR for 2 days now, and today I was playing MP and I suddenly got kicked out, and when I tried to go back in it said my username was already in use in MP.

I'm sad! Because I want to play MP, and it won't let me... I've also tried quitting my browser, etc.
