Ha ha, okay, I know, I'm not great. My MA is awful, even after months of practicing on judge 5 and 6. But hey...I'll take any good score I can get, especially sightreading a keyboard file.
![]() (PS -- suggestions to help improve MA are greatly approved, as long as they aren't "Stop sucking" or "Read it at C700"...I can't read 700 very well. I play at 525-550 for a reason. ^_^ Thanks --fenix) |

i play on c400. My ma is pretty much ok. Idk, it depends on the person i guess. But i improved my ma drastically when i started focusing on my ma rather than combo.

Don't try to go straight for 700, go up to like 575, then 600, 620,640,660,680, etc. I've never played that particular sim though so I can't really comment on that.

I have the same problem man
Except I play at 680, and it still sux. But, since the day I actually started listening to the music more, my PA improved a whole lot. However, I still don't feel a difference between a perfect and a marvelous. For me, its the same thing. When I got like 10 jumps on a slow beat I will probably hit 3 perfects, although I feel like I did it perfectly onbeat. |

When you're starting out you should post something that everyone has played (from kbmp, ckbmp, etc.) to stack up agains the other less known sims. Unless this is a well known sim and i just suck.

Can someone point me towards the real well-known sims, then? Aside from Quasar -- I've been whoring that a lot for no good reason (hey, I actually like the music, and I can FC it under 40 greats most days) and don't have much else interesting to play.

Oh my gawd, those stepfiles you people have pointed me to are 99% ego deflation devices, with a few small selections that I can pass with something better than a low B.
I really suck at the files that have constant jumps cramalamma'd into 16th (or worse) note runs. It's really, really cruel. |
