Default "Good Songs for Beginners" Training Guide.

Okay, I use this method and I've gotten pretty good. Maybe those new to FFR can make use of it too.

1. Super Mario Brothers 8-bit 80's Mix (Arcade)
-VERY EASY!!-
Try to FC this with less then 10 Goods, no Boos, and less than 5 averages. Then move on.

2. Trip to the Moon (Club Remix) [Dance]
-EASY-
Try to FC this and get at least 90% of the top scorer's score.

3. Too Tight (Funk)
-EASY-
This should be very easy for you by now.

4. Computer Dreams (Dance)
-EASY-
Not much new here. Pass through this with a good rating and you're all set.

5. Salad For Your Tuesday (Dance)
-EASY:MODERATE-
It's not all that hard...

6. Legend of Zelda (Arcade)
-EASY:MODERATE- (Yoshi Bonus Round: HARD)
If you're a beginner, the only hard part should be the middle, and of course, the Yoshi Bonus Round.

7. Bubbleman's Stage (Arcade)
-EASY:MODERATE-
Don't worry if you miss a few on this. This'll help you get ready for the later songs.

8. Cristalis - House Leaves (Arcade)
-MODERATE-
This one's got some nice quick frenzys, and trust me, you'll need to learn how to do this if you ever want to be good at FFR.

9. Final Fantasy 7 Boss Battle (Arcade)
-MODERATE-
The beginning's easy, but don't let that fool ya. It's gets crazy toward the end.

10. Beethoven Virus (Dance)
-MODERATE:HARD-
If you can pass this with a good rating (At least 2-3 credits earned), then congratulations, you are now at Intermediate level! Go on and try the secret song that you should've gotten by now, and some others.

Hope this helps.

NOTE: This is aimed mostly at those new to FFR.

Don't bother. It's as offbeat as hell.

Seems all right, except I would have stuck in Terror from Beyond in somewhere. I remember that being the first song I ever played, and the first to FC (before Mario, believe it or not, 'cause I played it so many times)

Massive needs to be on that list, it's extremely easy. I would put it after Computer Dreams.

Megaman should come either right before or right after FF7

Well, if you want me to replace it, I will. Now what to fill it with...?

Also, Massive ain't making it on there, that's a bit too hard for the beginners, wouldn't you say?

Don't put megaman on the list... The song rocks, but the steps are terribly off beat. I get so many stupid misses in the easy sections by listening to the music on that song =\
(btw, I qualify as intermediate at this point it seems... )

if you think massive is too hard for beginners... why'd somebody suggest after me? I consider myself a fairly adaquete player (but not speller, obviously) and I just cleared that song BARELY after so many tries.

If you mean Wily's theme, no I wasn't planning on adding it either. Bubbleman is staying though. And so is Crystalis

definitely put Terror from Beyond on there. Not only is a cool song, but it gets you used to stream arrows. Good for beginners to work on reading semi-fast arrows without having to worry about rhythm too much. And it's good for neurotics because some spots you SWEAR you hit that arrow and it says it's a miss....

Heh, you should also make a list for intermediate and advanced players (like me). I remember before when i practiced B2C countless times but still couldn't move on to hellbeat because the gap was HUGE. All the new songs plus a list would be helpful for struggling players.

Yeah, I mean wily's theme. That song has been a great source of aggravation for me =\
It's so easy yet I always manage to mess it up...only FC'ed it once =\

I also agree that after me is a pretty difficult song. I can barely clear it and I can do all of the other songs on that list quite easily...
