Default Photoshop noob contest ready go

This is what happens when you let people like me use programs with next to no inkling on how they work.

First try ever


really it's just a mix of a couple of tutorials and some "hey i wonder what this does".

Actually it's not that awful, but i'd really like to learn how to do some badass looking graphics like some of you people. Suggest and comment or whatever.

While it's been bumped, i'd just like to comment that i meant that it wasn't that awful for a first time ever messing around at photoshop compared to some idiots who fill a layer with blue and render clouds.

filter>sharpen>sharpen
repeat
(optional) duplicate the layer and put it above the first one
use overlay on the top layer
