I feel the same way. And there were some times when she was asking questions where I did not feel the genuine inquisitiveness which I would expected to feel from Star. Kinda more like paranoid vibes or grasping at every/anything to see what sticks

Unfortunately they have been gone and so I haven't been able to take a defense into account, but I am concerned their early read on Sun fan and me was TMI is the reason for this vote. I have literally gone years with basically no wolves pushing me, is partly why this is relevant (the only one that tried actually got hanged d0)

Currently I don't want any of these people voted out: Freezin, Ben, Sun fan, Haku, raeko

Pressure on anybody not on that list is great.

raeko was null for me earlier but the Xel push feels real is why that changed.

If people have questions for me, please prioritize asking them asap because of my time zone.

If I did the math right, the wolf team wins by having 4 out of the 10 town players be voted off. The town team win by voting out 3 wolves and preventing 4 town players being voted out.

I think that town having no secrets has the potential to make the fundamental secret of who knows who the wolves are already, easier to uncover. Everyone is going to have a more similar frame of reference than usual and town can be more open with each other without incurring the usual risks. Will we see radical honesty transform TWG? I suspect that the standard of posting that wolves have to be consistently capable of to actually be trusted in this one should be higher.

It depends partly on how the randomisation exactly fell, but the ten names not on the wolf team should still be a fairly intimidating list regardless. How many town names do they already fear cannot be one of their four to win?

I think town can make this a hard game to be a wolf in, especially for the later days when process of elimination is powerful. That comes down to things like creating information, to pressure, to commitment. Whatever can be done to not make it easy for them to get their 4 to win.

Statistically speaking, at some stage, it will look like the town are thinking and talking about all the wrong things. At those times, it will feel like it is a good game to be a wolf in. Wolves will be able to look smart and look like they are helping, by telling those unfortunate townies who don't already have the answers why they are probably wrong about what they are wrong about. With hindsight, with process of elimination, I think the good times can actually come back to haunt them in the end.

the way star talks about "town" feels to me like they don't include themselves in that category. i don't quite know how to describe it. it's too objective maybe? the elaboration on balance was helpful to me but i don't think that is alignment indicative for star.

this feels almost like a performative response to haku, obviously they are pointing out the mindset of what some wolves could be thinking, and not being serious. it would also be a lil insane imo to not think about that idea for at least a millisecond but maybe that's just because I'm busy atm

Look, I'll tell you the secret cheat code with me. In every games, regardless of alignment, I consistently lose in F3/F4 because my playstyle is like a giant swiss cheese of spontaneous interactions. The longer the game goes, the easier it becomes to get me voted out. I do not need to worry about my own alignment. I will get locked in or locked out naturally. You know this, they know this and those who haven't played with me often also know this now.

I'm just here to create interactions, facilitate interactions, ask questions/repond to questions and normally we reach a point where we have a game. As long as the team wins at the end, it won't matter.

I also recommend asking to Star what Star thinks. The way I view Star's game is that she's trying to be grounded, establish a good baseline and look into whatever is happening. Yes, this is great wolf play on paper, but it's also great town play. Do you want to risk voting out a potentially great town player right off the bat like that ?

I mean, you could be right, but damn. It's not a call I would like to make with the known information.

I don't think Haku knows who the wolves are. It feels like there is a through line of anxiety about lack of information and also a non-performatory picture being put together.

Obviously if someone disagrees on this I am open to an alternative take. I think it is more likely I am misreading Haku than Freezin for example.

Basically everything quoted below is +town in my opinion.

I'm not expecting everyone to do this because others have to look at interactions and decide where to vote, but yeah. We can't just have a staring contest, do nothing and then be like "oh yeah, we have to vote oops, idk where to vote".

I mean, I'm assuming it's something like "he said the same thing in 4-5 other games and he ended up being a wolf" kind of deal. I could be wrong tho. I don't have a lot of games with Zenith. So, I won't be the ideal person to interpret what's going on here.
I get where Freezin is coming from, I think my past self would have done the same. I'm just wondering if it's possible to understand something from Ben's playstyle. Not everyone has min/maxed posting efficiency to achieve a certain result. Also, I don't have a lot of games with Ben, but I do know he has tendency to play like he's doing right now regardless of alignment. If I learn something new from this game with him, I'd be pretty happy with it.

I'm sure some of my posts will come out weird from going back and forth like this, but the purpose of what I'm doing is to also try to figure out who's likely to be town in a way that's hard to emulate. If you're confident of even half of town in your reads, it makes the process of elimination much easier. It's not a full proof method, but mixed with the help of others it's often enough to win a game even if you don't find wolves directly. I'd encourage you to do something similar in your own way.

Both being wolves seems kinda ballsy. I'm on my phone, so kinda difficult for me to check while writing this, but I don't think bugkid had that much heat on them at the time that H&H posted. Seems like it would be odd to throw one's wolf partner under the bus so soon, unless they were already a lost cause.

I think H&H being wolf and bug being town is plausible. Probably worth looking into in the case that vote ends up being bug and they end up flipping town.
