I think on an individual level, there are a lot of different ways to play twg, none of which are necessarily wrong.

As a collective though, sometimes it takes a particular combination of such ways of playing in order for town to secure a win; and that exact combination isn't always clear a priori. I think trying to adjust your individual play style in order to achieve that combination has its limitations.

I was very wrong on raeko last game, so there is some fear there
but it is mostly overridden by "oh yeahhhhh, this is what that is like" from a few posts of hers

This is a good point regarding avatars potentially influencing reads. I think at least being aware of this helps to minimize the level of influence.

For me, the avatars help me to distinguish players from one another and to also visualize people's interactions and relationships in my mind, otherwise, with just the usernames, everything can start to feel like a blur.

I can see why someone would have that read, sure

it is definitely more the case that you attacked the closest person to your post proximity-wise imo

his posts are long-winded but he has done two things that I think wolves so, so rarely do (he did another one since I townread him earlier about how he plans to keep motivated)

my post with three !!! was more comedy than anything, but I literally thought for a second you thought I might've voted Benguino instead of bugkid and you were intending to vote with me
