Thanks for thread Raeko/Zyxel. \o
I haven't played FFR much this year. Lemme think at what I've been doing. This year.. I've quit Genshin after 4 years after finishing Natlan's content. I've quit Honkai Star Rail after 1 year up to Penacony's content. I've quit ZZZ after 3 months because I didn't want to farm gear. I've quit Nikke after 1 year because I ran out of content and got bored of gameplay loop. I just beat The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel part 1 (took 2 years playing on and off lmao). Looking forward to part 2. I've been in the Blue Protocol closed beta and it just ended yesterday. (The game will either live or fail depending on how they handle gacha) I've participated in a live event for Hyper Iria after somehow getting the #1 time in any%. Currently playing Blue Archive/Infinity Nikki as placeholder. I might quit Blue Archive for the same reasons as Nikke since it's more or less the same game, but I want to see end game first. Also playing DJ MAX Respect V, because I'm kind of plateau'd at 4K and I was entertaining the idea of learning 5-6-8K. This is probably going to be my last rhythm game with FFR. I occasionally play Street Fighter V, Age of Empire 2 and various other games with irl friends where I intentionally don't practice because I want to keep things interesting. I officially have seen 365+ days 24/24 7/7 of anime. I've been reducing on that end, but I spend more of that time gaming because it feels more active than passive. Send help. Despite working 40 hours/week, I think I spend more than 40 hours on video games per week in average regardless. This is a typical year for me I guess. I'm like lurking new games trailers and I keep installing/uninstalling games. Feels like I'm in this gaming echo chamber with no intention of moving unless something important happens in life. Started dieting and losing weight to stay more in shape. (to play more video games xd) So, I guess nothing changed. I usually like talking to people, it's just that I tend to prioritize gaming because I don't expect people to talk to me. So, if I haven't said hi in a while, don't count it as ghosting. (this applies to literally anyone on discord) Birthday itself has been pretty chill. Talking with family, taking 2 weeks off at home and working on myself so everything continues going smoothly. Keeping things simple etc. I guess sometimes, not changing is good. Edit: I also quit Wuthering waves at patch 2.0 and Tower of Fantasy when bots started being an issue and... (alright, you get the idea..)

w-was it late? I posted it shortly after midnight on what I thought was the right day T_T sorry
I gotta say I'm somewhat surprised that you're sticking with Infinity Nikki Haku!! I was a beta tester and I played Love Nikki for like 4 years but it just doesn't sit for some reason... probably because I find all the clothes too same-y and there just aren't enough in general. Love Nikki had so many options. maybe it will be different when I'm not at my parents house and have more time for gaming Congrats on the weight loss and dieting!! That's a huge accomplishment Quote:
Glad you had a chill birthday and enjoy the 2 weeks off~

The main reason I still have Infinity Nikki is because its daily gameplay loop is the most respectful of my time in the gachas I've played so far. I'm not sure how to feel about the clothes part of the game, but the parkour part of it has hilarious potential to me. By example, I didn't expect to climb a mountain and bypass an invisible wall with a motorcycle of all things. ...and here we are: So, to me it's more about what you can do with the game than what was the original intent. I'm assuming with enough banners, there will be eventually enough clothes. If I made the game, I would have given nearly every clothes some sort of ability and made it more sensitive to context. Gameplay would borderline look similar to Legend of Zelda where Link was using multiple items to get past content, but items here would simply be dresses with abilities. In a way, this game is tilting me a bit because I think it was really close to get somewhere interesting, but it's also interesting in its own way. I didn't expect clothes to be tied to numbers/maths and need to reach some sort of benchmark to win a fashion fight. I didn't expect their hierarchy system to work with how much swag you have. Like some parts of the game are so "out of nowhere" that I kind of want to see what they will do next because I've never seen this before. Heck, we went from having an incredibly good first patch with the Aurosa story to just magically skip the main story of the 2nd part of the game to then restart the entire story from zero because the game got on Steam. Like, what even is going on ? ..and now we have housing which I've yet to explore completely. It's weird to say, but the side content is carrying the game imo and the main story just need to match what they did on the very first patch. So, if weird unexpected things stop happening, the game should fix itself in theory imo.
