You remember half of that correctly. I had like 100 post I just wasn't around for the last 10 hours of a phase in like a 72 hour phase and people went from no sus to murder with a quickness

That was the game Charu had a big hissy fit about minimum post requirements and started posted the alphabet, too (or was like around the same time frame)

I am tipping my hand rn but hateandhatred (henceforth referred to as sven) is probably my 2nd top town and I don't really like the way that it feels like this phase is headed between him and I

I should firstly say that there is a sizable distance between him and haku in terms of how strongly I townread them, like really big
I could end this phase voting for sven and feel good about it, and I didn't have a particularly strong townread on him before (it was a scumread even)
but his post where he feels like he needs to remain committed to the game, even if he isn't happy with his role

idk man

it just feels like the vanilla town-flavored truth and not something a wolf brewed up

his vote on haku also feels like townsven just sussing something out, again, I'm not sure if I can word this right, but that kind of thought process seems hard for a wolf to genuinely fake

I know sven is more mechanics-focused, and the vote/push is mechanics based
it is just a bit more like... creative? than wolves normally are

fwiw I do think sven's last eod where he waffled before claiming VT was sus, maybe I should ask him about that idk
sven when you read this can you talk about what was going through your mind when (I think it was leetic?) asked you if you were a role?

to me, it literally felt like you went into wolfchat and asked your partner what you should do

Actually maybe 1/4 because OP doesn't state if vengeful gives us a full cardflip, so maybe raeko was it and we don't know. OP only mentions their role pm, though.

the game where charu posted the alphabet was a different one iirc, that was cancelled on d2 because it just like...
was so imbalanced and off-brand that it essentially wasn't mafia, it was a waste of time (sorry atrnoach or however you spell your name if you're out there)

but I was more asking about you caring about when other people can get rushed when they are afk

Haku KNOWS extremely well that we wouldn't vote him out mechanically if he's unvoted. That's why we didn't want to vote weiss out for you!

If he's wolfing, he's fucking winning because he's now unkillable because we have to live with the risk that a mislynch of him has a 1/3 chance to kill another town - it's not even a loose cannon but a guaranteed extra town death

I don't think town haku EVER leaves this game unvoted. I don't think there's a chance of that ever happening, because he knows if he somehow dies for whatever reason and isn't around to defend himself, and he's the vengeful spirit, he's guaranteed to result into another town death and town loses!

We didn't not kill Weiss because he didn't have a vote out, we didn't not kill Weiss because he didn't make any content whatsoever

This doesn't apply to Haku, and Haku has played the game long enough to know FFR loves to lynch players who miss EOD so long as they have posts

There's no indication that Haku feels, or has ever felt in past games, that if he doesn't vote then we'll policy save him

cardflips are full role flips as mentioned near the top of the post, so yes, raeko would have flipped as vengeful if she was vengeful

However, on ffr it is almost always on, I really hate when it isn't and it is one of my biggest pet peeves, even if the flavor for it is hard to justify or w/e

you know those keywords like KitB and Nighttalk/chat and OOTC and all that in the OP?

for a long time, FFR didn't have one for whether or not wolfchat was on all the time or only during the night phase, and it would lead to dumbtells (or derpclears) or wolves trying to fake that, so it became more commonplace for hosts to specify beforehand

I think I was just telling you that the OP didn't have one of those and normally it does
