Lag in beginning of songs?

Hey all,

So this started happening after my computer died in the middle of a song -- now there's a lag in the very beginning of the song (and then all the notes catch up in about a half second once the lag is over). I'm using Air, and I'm not sure I've seen anyone with this issue... If it helps, once I finish a chart, it says it's unable to upload the score due to "ERR: 5".

Thoughts?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling air? That may help

what version of r^3 are you using

This same happened for me a year back, when my computer ran out of battery mid song. The only way I got it back to working again was to mess around with the "Framerate" option and rates (if i remember correctly). It may not happen immediatly but it will work. Atleast it did for me

I believe it's 0.0.8? I downloaded the newest 1.1.1, and the same thing happened. Do you remember what you did with the framerate/rate options to get it back to normal (and about how long it took)?

What framerate do you use? Mines at 250 and never lags. You could try intervals of 50 or maybe try 120?

I have this same issue but I play on browser because I am unable to download FFR. I have had this issue on two different computers after playing for a couple of weeks. Any way to fix this?
