I can't just not shoot, what if it's an enemy?
I shoot my teammates in warframe a bunch but either that doesn't do any damage or the health mechanics in warframe make it not a big deal

There is a skill gap that comes with awareness of the battlefield.

You shoot a rocket launcher at one enemy and one teammate side by side, they should blow up equally (coming from a competitive mindset).

The teams are colored, so assuming you can see colors normally, it shouldn't be a problem.
