moving to charlotte NC in five months, anyone around?

i've been living in china for the past two years and am moving to charlotte for a job starting around july, and i wanted to see if anyone was around / had recommendations for places to live or things to know

would love to meet some more ffr people if ya around the area!

Still haven't finished the Chinese part of school but them still the plans. How was living in China?

PM me if you don't have concrete work or study plans, i know a good number of more legit companies and have studied in a few different places so i can set you up with some contacts! i've lived in Taipei (4 months), Shanghai (6 months), Hangzhou (3 months), Nanjing (16 months), and Beijing (2 months), so I can speak on these cities a bit.

it's been cool for the past two years, all in Nanjing doing grad school, mostly growth in finding out what i wanted to do. i came in wanting to stay in academia forever and am leaving having some cool professional experience that shifted my trajectory a lot. still in flux about everything, but i definitely see myself going to hong kong or singapore for work sometime in the future

will also be in Asheville for all of labor day weekend if any of ya be in that locale

i don't live in dc, but i visit there a couple times a year, got family that lives there

finding people that live in the southeast us is always a crapshoot lol

hey let me know when at its v possible! trying to go out to INSEAD to say hi to friends at some point and could just conveniently sync up
