Default 3/4 time

I have long since used 4/4 time signatures, as many do, but here's something to ponder: Where is the evil 3/4 time?
I say evil in a good way. In the very few cases of hearing it in electronica, mainly gabber, it has ALWAYS had this fun, bouncy sound to it, yet finding such is nearly impossible.
So i ask: is there any artists, tracks, ect that make heavy use of this signature? Why do most artists shy away from it? What is your take on it?
Discuss.

I think the only reason most people don't use it is that it's different from what they're used to. That's how I feel. As much as I'd love to try something new, it's just really difficult to get used to. It's like a completely different world.

3/4 time has a specific style to it, and it's really good for waltzs. If you're not composing a waltz, you probably don't want 3/4 time. That's most likely why hardly anybody uses it (I wouldn't be surprised if the Dutch or other weird people like that use it a lot....weirdos).

PS: There have been a few times that I've written melodies and then tried to put drums to it and it just didn't work because the melody I wrote was in 3/4 time. Weird times....

Take this artist
http://www.muzie.co.jp/cgi-bin/artist.cgi?id=a007906

Check out "Prediction" and see what i mean. I know that Brooklyn Bounce is highly notorious for jumping into 3/4. The main point in my asking this question is, who does it and what do you suggest?

As for adding percussion to a 3/4 melody, drop every 4th 16 and work from there. I plan to release something in 3/4 to FFR when I can.

Default 3/4 time

I have heard a few artists do stuff in 3/4, but I wish that more artists were writing music in different time signatures than 4/4. I guess the main problem is that when a DJ throws on a track for a mix, it's really hard to mix 2 songs that have completely different time signatures. For this reason a lot of producers simply make 4/4 music for the fact that it is easer to mix on a live DJ set. I think that people should try to break this style and experiment in other time signatures. I am working on a new track at the moment in 7/5 time.

My song soulsight is 6/8 http://www.supergreenx.com/music/soulsight.mp3
My Panzer Dragoon Orta More Than a Weapon remix is in 7/4 http://www.supergreenx.com/music/Pan...a%20Weapon.mp3
Adjusting to Reality is a really slow 5/4 time: http://www.supergreenx.com/music/Adj...%20Reality.mp3
And Deep Breath is 4/4, but is odd in that phrazes are in groups of 5 measures instead of the normal duple grouping that is popular. http://www.supergreenx.com/music/Deep%20Breath.mp3

Odd time sigs are fun

I believe aperson's Solaris was in 9/8 time. It's actually pretty easy to pick up, gardyloo. There's no secret to it.

I tried writing music with no time signature at all once.

...Needless to say, that didn't go well. Came out odd and completely incoherent.

Also, check out DM Ashura's "Seven" if you get the chance. It's done in 7/8 time.
