If I were scum and Mellon were eternalisk, I'm heavily townread and haven't said my role. I can just wait for Mellon to claim then not cc and say I was trying to provide cover, making me look even townier as a result. And if my partner in this scenario is in the POE then fakeclaiming dooms the team because if Mellon flips vigi I die the next day
