You can ask questions, AA hasn't exhausted the list. There's millions of things you can ask, point out, ask differently, tangents to go on. I fail to see how AA is eating them.

The point of the game isn't to be town leader or to be the one making pivotal plays, it's to play the game. No one can take that away unless you're trying to sit back and appear town without giving yourself away as wolf.

I think this 'directing' thing is more tied to how this particular player usually plays --- I can get the impression that his own general perception of himself is someone who "directs" others as town

Even if you want to think this is a democracy and everyone do their own plays etc. etc.

At the end of the day, you want to your top scum to die and for that to happen, you need to convince the other town players that you're right (if you're really believe that you are more right).

The moment you start convincing the other towns, that's falling under directing.

It's something you will eventually have to do if you want to win.
