I would say the biggest difference is that I take the game more seriously now. I am still a fan of the "yolo" play style but back then I would purposefully ignore mechanics and things if I found them to be confusing, and just do whatever I wanted within the game. I was more of a "surface level" player who looked for things like slips or people imploding on themselves.

I think my play style evolved a lot with the player base here. Since everyone else is going so hard I guess I have to too

honestly, ignoring OPs as much as you can in games like this is the way to go

I think the "slips are dumb" mindset is one of the best mindsets you can have; its kind of cheesy whenever I would see people "slipping" on TV shows or whatever, because its almost never a thing.

playing Tabletop with storn recently made me appreciate him on a different level, so I'm not 100% sure I agree that you have to go hard because other people do

people just like

they never lie when asked that question or series of questions

so I think it does help me understand what kind of player they are, what situations they've played in, and that helps me understand what to look for and what I should think is important
