Charu is saying normally, roundbox would be kept alive as a mislynch and an active townie would be killed instead. But that didn't happen because one or both of them are chosen, so they had to go for the suboptimal roundbox kill.

I'm willing to suspend my suspicions and buy charus logic for exactly one day phase, because I feel the night kill frames this scenario as somewhat likely. I'm not sure rapta + Mello is exactly the wolf team but that's what digging in to eod is for, which I believe will hold clues (like charu alluded to)

The only focus should be to find wolves.

Anything beyond that is nonsense and pure speculation.
