I don't if I am bad
I don't KNOW if I am bad
I started playing FFR 8 months ago, but I do not know if I'm good or bad because I do not have anyone to compare me with. I would like to ask your opinion. My AAA level is around 10, and I have fun in very challeging. Do I need to change hands and brain or all right? Last edited by Samoy; 06-10-2017 at 04:33 PM.. |

I don't if i am bad either but changing your hands/brain seems pretty dope regardless if that's a thing which can be achieved.

Re: I don't if I am bad
As many would probably say, just keep playing. Practice is the key to success. When I first started FFR, I couldn't play any of those difficult - guru level. The best I could do was "tricky" level. As you progress, your eyes get used to the pattern and the speed become so much slow to the point that you would want to modify your speed. My speed was 1.0x in the late 2003. 1.2x speed at 2005. 1.3x speed at 2006. 1.4x speed at 2009. 1.5x speed at 2010. 1.6x speed at 2012. 1.75x speed at 2016. And now I'm pretty much playing at 2.0x speed. Anyway, my point is, just play thousands of songs or whenever you have time for it. Eventually, you'll see the difference.

Does being bad matter if you're having fun?

Re: I don't if I am bad
Do you mean bad as in your progression is statistically below the mean?
Probably then. But you know, have fun, we've all been there, don't worry about it, keep playing, you'll get better, etc. etc.

Re: I don't if I am bad
Personally:
You are good! A little lower then my skill level but definitely enough to give me good games and a challenge. kudos!! Globally: So this answer will change depending on the person BUT I would say in the global aspect of things your closer to a beginner then an expert. For this it all depends on what songs you fc, sdg, and AAA. Level and Division A lot of people say that level doesn't matter but I think it does. I mean it literally takes the top 50 songs you played ever in the games history and bam you have your level. Btw highest level player is... 103? i believe? So there's an easy comparison . Also the highest division is D7 so just check what division you are in. Multiplayer: No one REALLY knows where they stand skill wise but the things above help a bit. But the best way to really find out is to compete against others. Compete against the top tier players. Have them pick the song and see how well you can keep up. Or face an easier opponent and feel like god. But you should probably stick to players that are at or above your skill level. Now the most important thing is to have fun and then get better at the game :P and the best way to do that is to go on multiplayer HAVE FUN!

Re: I don't if I am bad
PS: I have done more than 1400 games in 8 months and this last month I felt a slowdown in my progression, this came with the speed of the arrows, now I think I can do AAA on level 30-40, Thank you again I return to train ^^

Re: I don't if I am bad
This game is all about personal growth. We all feel that we are bad at the game imo. A lot of us get to a certain point and plateau. Some of have been playing this game for over a decade and still can't get past a certain division(me). If you feel like you are progressing, then you are reaching your potential. Just keep playing and learning new patterns. Adjusting your scroll speed to what makes sense for you. Mapping your keys differently might help. Also, when you are trying to AAA a song and can't because you're mind blocked. Try playing the song on mirror then go back. It helps.

Re: I don't if I am bad
Concerning the scroll speed, is there a value from which to increase in speed no longer works? Because I am looking for my speed but I do not know if I have to increase to have less information or decrease to have time to react ...

Re: I don't if I am bad
Scrollspeed is all preference, generally as you start to play faster stuff you will need to increase it so the notes aren't clustered, but just increasing it for the sake of it before you are ready isn't going to help.
For example take a player like etienne who uses a fairly high scroll speed: https://youtu.be/HLS9tMxlntE?t=11s And then April, who uses a slow scroll speed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSmb...youtu.be&t=53s Last edited by Dinglesberry; 06-18-2017 at 09:53 AM.. |
