mellonxcollie - said earlier, reactions give me a town lean but content isn't great, so a smidge of a town lean
Witch of Certainty - meh, null, maybe the slightest scum lean for the post about how we move the game out of the shitposting phase
TWG Jade Harley - has very weak presence so far and seems hung up over their entrance. yeah people are poking at it but you can move on at some point. slight scum lean
thesunfan - idk, I haven't really disliked anything that he's done but there are a few things that I've noticed and that he's now explained. slight town lean
DaBackpack - his burst of posts recently were pretty decent, but I need to see more. slight town lean
Hakulyte - he's comfortable, had a decent enough reaction to me "wolfreading" him and voting him, he seems to also be poking at me which I think wolf haku is less likely to do. strong town lean

it's not as damning as I thought it originally was so it helps, but I find his fixation on reading you town as very strange

lol why is it necessary to nitpick between scum reads or scum leans

fine, do you have any people that you find even remotely scummy?

it doesn't matter that it's been retracted, for all I know he could be just making an explanation up. as it is I find it somewhat plausible, but I don't think he's anywhere near out of his wolf range with his content this game

both actually do have to do with it, the one where xel strongly asserts that shado is town is part of making sure they're not seen as w/w. it's even more interesting that he seems to care more about how shado is read than he himself is

I don't see why you're being so stubborn and narrow-minded about this

you seem to want people to word things extremely precisely, and then if what people offer up doesn't exactly match said definition then you take issue with it

I never even considered that someone would have a problem with "scum reads" vs "scum leans", and imo those two aren't even different, one is a subset of the other (scum leans are a subset of scum reads, just on the weaker end of the spectrum)

I also don't appreciate how you're trying to discredit me with the "Does seem like they're both fixed on that, hm?" if you have energy to be snarky then surely you have energy to come up with more than a few town leans

I don't like the fact that you're just hanging on sunfan's word for who to vote next

what if sunfan is a wolf? You don't even seem to be considering that possibility, and if you're town that's not good. even if you are strongly townreading someone, unless it's mechanical you always have to keep in mind the possibility that you're wrong, and at the very least it'd be less worrisome if you were to show some independent thought processes as to who you have suspicions of, rather than handing it 100% over to someone whose alignment you don't know if you're town. add to this the fact that sunfan is a strong player and it's even more concerning

one more thing: why do people have to be "scummy enough" to vote? why can't you just pressure vote people, or vote people you have a mild suspicion of? voting people doesn't mean they'll definitely be lynched, in fact it often doesn't even mean you're scumreading them. and what is "scummy enough" anyways?
