Actually I would have voted for Raeko and parked it hard on her my last post but I noticed reading the thread for the first time that Shado goes from talking to You and SunFan (I think? I'm happy to nitpick this point a little about being flustered, more a pride thing because I just want to be right, I don't think this will further the thread but here goes

Definitions for fluster from here:

verb (used with object)
1.
to put into a state of agitated confusion:
His constant criticism flustered me.
2.
to excite and confuse with drink.
verb (used without object)
3.
to become agitatedly confused.
noun
4.
nervous excitement or confusion.

I don't think any of those describes me in that turbo or at any point during this game, there's no confusion here.

I think mellon's problem is that people are saying mellon only uses being UTR to win, which isn't true

being UTR may be part of her scum strategy, but you have to make decent enough posts to skate by while being UTR

I think this horse has been beat to death enough and we can just evaluate mellon on how she plays right now

more ultimatums here, it's not always black and white. I think shado is playing very level 1 here with respect to mellon and I know he's not a level 1 player

I think this notion of "ultimatum" describes more or less my feelings about shadow rn

it reads like constructing a scenario were he is "100% justified" in making votes, perhaps even up until EoD

which, again, is constructing a situation where he won't be given shit for doing "exactly what he said he was going to do earlier on"

Right now I'm leaning toward Shado, and not just because he is pushing me. It's because he is making a push way too early, way too aggressively and with much too flimsy reasoning. Yes I responded in an emotional manner but he just kept pushing, and pushing, rather than listening to me it seems. I think town players genuinely want to read people's responses and it didn't really seem like Shadow has been doing that, not only with me either.

I'm not sure how I feel about Xel. I suck at reading Xel but I haven't had any distinctly townie vibes from him. He seems like he is interacting a bit, but not a lot, and most of the things he's said haven't displayed much "original" thought

Jade is beginning to bum me out by not showing up, but I can't hold that against her quite yet. I think it's possible there are "UTR/inactive" wolves but I also think we need to give them a bit more time to accurately judge their activity levels

And oh Lar I'm playing this game, I didn't mean I'm going to stop playing. I meant I'm not going to interact with you because you aren't a nice person and this is supposed to be a fun game

I think that this is a pretty excellent summary of how I feel about Shado this game, the 2nd to last line in particular. The last post of his you quoted feels the worst to me, specifically because I'm not really sure how he got to raeko being a wolf (which is a read I would be not too likely to agree with at that point and this point), specifically a wolf, that is tilted at how people are reading her.

How do you feel about her play now? She's still being defensive with a few dabs of general reads that don't really stick out to me.

She is posting more though so that's a positive

1) substantiating your vote with evidence and describing how you arrived at a conclusion, and
2) positioning yourself with respect to that reasoning in order to gain strategic advantage

Shadow seems to be doing the latter
