that's what I thought but that's not quite how it works

because there are 3 wolves and they all submit a kill, they have no idea if they've hit a partner or if their partner's kill was overridden

now obviously if there's no NK then they've confirmed a partner, but otherwise they can't say for sure

Usually a private chat/forum for wolves to talk to each other during nightphase.

let me draw a scenario out for you just so we can be crystal clear

players A, B, C, D, E, F, G

A, B, C are wolves

A targets B
B targets D
C targets E

A targets B, kill is thrown out
target is randomed between D and E
D dies

oh! A knows B is his partner now, right?

nope

because they don't know that B failed to die because they're A's partner, all they see is that D dies so it could mean the kill on D was chosen over the kill on B

I also think Haku is assuming that the wolves would triple stack on you (AA) if they were to kill you, or double-stack as you are the third.

Either way, I think he's trying to say you'd be the top candidate to be killed. In his mind, if you're a wolf, only your kill will go through and if you picked a wolf, then wolves are in the know.

Now then, let's say in this hypothetical world of Haku's in which you are a wolf, and your kill does go through, there's still the problem for the wolves in that they don't know if it was a 1-1-1 vote and their kills just got randomized onto you.



Either way, Haku, this is some pretty major tinfoil and is not a good way to be looking at how AA can be a wolf and find partners/they can find him.

Do they receive a reason as to why the vote was "thrown out" or they literally just receive a message saying so and they have to guess why it happened?
