The contradiction is ass, the tone is ass, all he has done is flair under pressure, be inconsistent and respond to me like ass, and while I hate voting the newguy again I can't ever find it in myself to love myself if I don't call it out

afaik day 0 is a shitshow anyway so i'm not really trying to benefit anyone but myself right now. there isn't much information to work with. also i only got into this game cuz i saw it was similar to mafia though i haven't heard of it being referred to as twg before. i've also heard of town of salem which is kinda like this but with more specific town roles at nighttime

no not that I know of. Almost all of my IRL games are called Mafia and it's the same thing.

it's a good thing you've only "heard" of town of salem

when i stopped playing it (pre-vampires) it was such an unbalanced pos and their closed setups are so janky

it's like playing a bastard game /every/ /game/ and it's not about reading people like a good twg is

in my case at least, it's not so much soft-defending people as it is disagreeing with the way people are pushing on others

like I voted sunfan because I felt his push on charu was bad

and I don't see why you need townreads to soft defend someone, it can be as simple as you don't think someone is scummy while someone else does, but you're not necessarily townreading them

what i'm thinking is, you usually use vote pressure to get what you want out of people, except you didn't plop a vote on dadcop until after i made that post

could be poor timing on my part but your progression seems out of the usual in this case

sunfan "appreciates it", I don't know what that actually means, I'll guess that he liked it. but then votes charu off something that seems quite inconsequential (was it a lolvote? clarify), and ends up coming back to unvote, seemingly because charu's hot read doesn't stick out to him as much as it did earlier. I guess what would make sense is sunfan didn't like charu's hot read and then didn't dislike it as much as he did earlier and then unvoted, but then why was the vote onto charu based on an interaction with haku? and why did you say you appreciated it, sunfan?

I'm reading MML & dadcop2 as a typical TvT, but I'm certainly not against seeing some action from the two. I just hope they stop tunneling and invest some time in the other players as well.

MML ain't voting dadcop2 for being wolfy, they just disagree about principles/semantics (huh mafia vs twg) and that's really just a waste of time fmpov.

Then you say you thought ind was being different from his last scum game, which would lean towards you agreeing with the hot read. basically it seems like you simultaneously like and dislike charu for that post which seems odd
