Psycho's slot was DPB, who came in D0, shitposted, made a push on Precarious, got pushed back by Precarious and promised to address the push, but ended up not doing that for no reason, did weird shit at EoD, and then disappeared. Sorry psycho, but what you've posted so far hasn't counteracted all of that carp.

I didn't get to read all of DBP's posts because I've been working on reading everyone still currently in the game but from what I gathered from other's posts about DBP that comment of "all that crap" is bullshit. If I'm seriously on your "top" list for scum then I think you're just looking for an easy out. There's too many others with way more content or fishy things. It's one thing to have some lean on me for it sure, but seriously? I've actually been coming in here every time I said I would and making an effort, what exactly have you been doing? Idk how many times now you've given an excuse or said "I'm going to" without actually contributing anything. Even that post there just seems like a cop out to have some sort of activity because people are on your ass now.

My vote is remaining on DFR unless it proves useless as EoD. It's one thing to be too busy/not sufficiently invested to read, it's another thing to respond to pressure with "reads" that are clearly unsupported, and are made to look like one has read more than they have. To claim it was a misread or misunderstanding is insincere, particularly when a roster run was somehow summoned up as soon as pressure was actually applied. These are wolfy actions.

Beyond that,

I'm not sure what to think of the newer subs. MML came out with a huge amount of (angry) content, and has been completely quiet since. As in there hasn't been a post from him since ~5 a.m. I don't really like anything he said either; he seemed to spend most of his time sparring with the two claims. A lot of the town reading of MML comes from people having town read botchi, which I don't necessarily agree with (although I'll admit Charu made a strong case for that some pages back). Setting botchi aside, the strongest case I can make for MML is that arguing so much and so rapidly with people that won't be voted today, then disappearing for so long, doesn't seem like a smart move for an anti-town player. When you're best defense can be boiled down to WIFOM, that's not a good thing.

Psycho is hard to read. She's provided analysis on several different players, and I can follow her reasoning on her reads, although I disagree with some of them. The problem is, they seem a little overly safe--there aren't any hard wolf reads, and I get the sense she doesn't want to antagonize anyone, given that DBP was under a decent amount of suspicion when he was replaced. By itself, that instinct is pretty alignment-neutral, but the overall profile of DBP+Psycho isn't spectacular.

I think I've said this already, but I think there's a wolf between Haku and Xel. If I thought that post rate distribution actually meant anything, I'd probably lean toward Haku, but I'm not sure that's a compelling case on its own. I'll need to actually iso Haku and Xel fully for final thoughts on this, and that's taking a while. At the moment, I'm leaning toward Haku as a wolf, but we'll see what iso turns up.

Juckter and Mellon have been pretty quiet. Mellon leaves me more uneasy based on the reactions of other people, as the assessments of Mellon have been kind of all over the place, which could hint at factionalism. Mellon's posts today, however, have been a lot better than previously. Iso looks good for Mellon--the opinions are supported by a mix of gut, observations, and reasoning, and it feels like they've been making a real effort to track things down. The challenge to Juckter didn't feel manufactured to me. Unfortunately, that was Mellon's most recent post, but...

Juckter himself is a difficult case. I don't really like his absence, given that the reasons were both seeming resolved a while ago, and there still hasn't been a lot there. I kind of like his reasoning in both of his suspicions, but the psycho case feels a little bit like low hanging fruit, and it's hard for me to get around his own inactivity.

Roundbox has been sort of mia recently, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Zenith still looks fine.

Current probable scum pool is DFR, one of Haku/Xel, one of subs/Juckter. SK is more difficult, but I'd look for low and/or empty activity.

I understand, and I've felt that way before (including in this game). But even when I'm feeling this way the worst, if I'm into the game enough to care to read it then I can usually manage to produce something.

I gave a wolf lean towards DFR, can't really make it a "hard" read when the content is pretty minimal from the person. Not antagonizing anyone has nothing to do with playing anything safe, I just hadn't come across anything yet because I've only been through the bottom few players on the who's posted list. If you look above I'm now hitting jucker harder because of his last post.

I mentioned before, getting through everyone before EOD is not going to be possible for me so I'm just here and present to interact through EOD. So if people want to toss stuff at me, bring up points I haven't seen and get my opinion, etc go for it.

I know this should sort of be a null-tell but the fact that he suggested the phase extension really makes me doubt he is a wolf. There are so many ways the wolves could have taken advantage of that situation. but he was the one to nip it right in the bud. Town could have been royally fucked yesterday, but we weren't largely thanks to Precarious' suggestion.

Honestly if he is a wolf, at least he has enough honour to play the game properly and I really respect that so good job. But I haven't seen anything that screams wolf to me anywhere else. so for today he is in my town pile.

Didn't sound fabricated. It sounded like a genuine attempt at humor, followed by a fair reading of the extension's results. If we didnt have the extra 24 hours, psycho would be lynched 100% and I would've shot botchi. The extension has given us valuable info, content, and time that only serves to help town. A confused, chaotic EoD is rarely ever a good one.

Well, it's mostly that killing botchi/DBP would technically benefit Precarious/mellon/Juckter if they're a wolf team so, that sounds convenient to say.
