so much for the OUHS. stupid birdteams.

either way, i've got a Ramos jersey (if he weren't injured....) for my week and a half old son, and some curly W kicks to go with it. i'm ready for friday, ace matchup kershaw and scherzer. gonna be a good game even if you're not invested in the nats or dodgers.

fivethirtyeight has the cubs at 26% chance of winning the whole thing, hard to argue with that. they've been beyond good this year. as far as i'm concerned, the nats are two injuries (ramos and strasburg) from being a real threat. dang dang dang dang dang dang.

anyways, i'm looking forward to the game tomorrow. should be fun.

that Encarnacion moonshot made me yell, like you didn't even need to switch the camera angle from facing the batter to know that it was a game-ending hit, the trajectory/speed that shit got off the bat was nuts, haha

holy hell, that was a stressful game. Baez with the solid hit to win it for the Cubs, though it was a rather rookie move on his part to simply assume the ball was gonna carry all the way out, considering grandpa had a damn good hit of his own stay in the park.

hats off to Cueto, he was definitely the better pitcher with the exception of that slip-up that gave the Cubs the game. Really good command all around.
