there's lyncher where they specifically want someone lynched

otherwise maybe a hunter-type role (I know hunter gets a shot when they get lynched on EM though, so not that type)

its sounds like either its your win-con or part of your role to me. perhaps you're right and achieving said win-con doesn't impact the game at all and merely means you get a personal win, but it could also end the game and make the rest of town lose.
