If it's the claims you're confused about, everyone's claiming because it leaves opportunity for the actual cop to out their n0 check

I'm mainly confused on why a hypo is the best d0 course right now, though I can't say I completely disagree with it

There's things we can learn from doing so but god forbid the cop gets hit during the first night I'm going to be rather upset especially with no other PRs and it'll turn this game into a wolfhunt that consists of pure scumhunting with no outside influences.

yes but if the cop dies first night and the cop outed who their check was, we still have another confirmed human.

not to mention the odds are almost the same if i'm not mistaken. what's the difference between a complete shot in the dark, and a shot in the dark when everyone claims they have a check?

Hell, in a setup like this not too long ago, I went ahead and got the cop killed D1 instead.

True I guess, I've watched hypo situations happen more than I've taken part in them so I'm pretty unfamiliar with the scenario that plays out

I'll trust the veterans to guide me through the scenario though

i used to play a ton of turbos on 2+2. granted they were like 10 MINUTE phases rather than hours, but hey. same principle.

it was general practice to always claim to have a d0 peek. and then ongoing if you weren't killed and neither was the cop.
