The more and more I think about it, roundbox's flip tells us the most. And I am going to agree with everything I had doubts about earlier when I was fiddling with those ideas yesterday.

yeah ok I really want to see people post who they're going to visit, I see literally no good reason not to do it

It stops the wolves from getting extra nightkills in the early game

yeah lategame if town is in a really bad position, its a terrible idea

but if we do it as it is now, we limit the wolves to only having one nightkill a night

its infinitely better to say who you're visiting

charu's being dumb right now

if there's more than one nightkill, based on how I'm reading the setup, the nightkills aren't differentiated, so we won't know who died from what, but what we will know is the information it gives us, and it gives wolves a lot less incentive to arm themselves, as well as reduces the potential for wolves to kill more than one person each night

I mean they can still do it, but there should never be more than two people dying each night, because the wolves will give town too much information

this of course, supposes that people don't stack their visiting targets, which should be avoided entirely

wait, no, we should always stack

let me try and explain

if a wolf arms themselves, and we always stack targets with two visitors targeting the same person, so if there's three kills, a wolf has always outed themselves because based on three people dying, we will know who the nightkill was AND who the wolf is
