Jrodd was the very first person to vote for dbp, and he did it without providing reasoning but instead by asking if anyone else thought that he looked suspicious. That is an ideal way to open a bus on your partner - see exactly how likely it is they are to get lynched by asking how everyone else is reading them.

The bandwagon is formed and then once it feels obvious dbp is going to be lynched, his earlier confidence in his read vanishes. Now this is really weird to me. I don't know about you guys but my read progression on dbp was parallel to sunfan's, and got redder as time went on - he made one weak defense and then left the thread, that's super typical wolf dbp.

But J-rodd's read went the other way. He expressed confidence in his read initially, but once it got closed to EOD he made a bunch of really weird posts expressing doubt in the lynch, asking the thread if dbp was really what they wanted to do, and saying "oh well I guess we can just lynch dbp and then I'll look good!"

He could've voted storn instead of keeping his vote on DBP to push to kitb, charu was there and had a vote on me and didn't like the DBP lynch at the time, the opportunity was there.

fg. You only mentioned dbp's name 2/3 times before attempting to hammer him. Your one vote was very shallow before you hopped off to put pressure on wnb. Then at EOD, he clearly had the most votes and only at the end when he was most likely was getting lynched anyway you voted him. I think you saw he was dying, and wanted to vote him to make you look more towny. Because it was only at that time that you were like "yeah he's pulling standard wolf dbp ya know, utr n shit" and then you voted. I see a wuff doing that.

I don't think we agree on what an opportunity means.

Yes, I grant you that if he had said the right words, he probably could have influenced the lynch train to go on someone else.

What I'm saying is, in a jrodd/dbp world, there's no way to do this without looking bad himself. Dbp would continue to be in the game and likely continue being scumread, and him switching off of his initial target that he expressed confidence in would be very hard to reconcile, especially if dbp ended up getting lynched the next phase.
