So, as danceguy so kindly reminded the thread, Haku tried to shoot me but I lived to tell the tale!

Well, it just so happens...

That had nothing to do with my role, hee hee hee...

No, someone else protected me somehow, and I have no idea what kind of power would allow something like that happen.

I was actually quite surprised myself when I learned Haku tried to shoot me.

I played it off well though, hee hee hee...

I was waiting that entire phase for someone to come out and say they protected me, but no one did.

Part of the reasons why I was such a huge butt that phase too.

since we don't know any roles, the ability to protect others could be town or wolfie or third party aligned so that doesn't even give us much information about the motives of the one protecting you.

convenient how ambiguous that leaves this situation hmmmmmmmmm

So... either the Gun GOD role has a double edge sword, or someone is witholding info from last phase for some odd reason.

Like, you guys were so on me that phase, I really wanted THAT person to just up and say it, but they never did.

another mystery to be solved...

if it's the case you're town, then this is another situation where we have a large thread target, but someone wanted to kill you anyway. I think it's an offbeat strategy.

doesn't make sense, let's say someone else is town-aligned and protects you from day-shots, 1) they would be outing themselves if they announced it which would be real bad unless it was a 1-shot power and why??? would they use it on you near the start of the game, and 2) you surviving that shot still wouldn't confirm you as town to the protector. at all.
