to make things clear this is where I'm coming from:

There are too many possibilities in this game to simply look at a group of people and say w/x/y/z are a wolf yeam.
I think it's more to our advantage to account for roles backwards. By no means do I expect another 3rd party to claim, especially assuming it's in direct violation of their wincon.

But, I think taking the *facts* we have and combining them to a better understanding will help us narrow the pool down to saying 2/3/4 instead of x/y/z.

So again, we have 3 post restriction claims, 2 gun claims, and a 3rd party claim. This info is very pertinent to narrowing the pool imo

correct, I'm not interested in eliminating 3rd party, I'm interested in narrowing the wolf pool down to a conceivable number. If 3rd party is (like I'd said about the SK thing) supposed to eliminate wolves too, than let V help us until he is no longer needed.

When drg just kinda called that out it made me realize I probably look like a 3rd party fishing for roles to find who I'm supposed top eliminate. I would like to hard clarify on this: I am adamantly stating I'm green, however I've been given information to assist in my understanding of the game. On that note, I wish haku would answer my question

I see all of this discussion about roles, my question is did anyone receive a vanilla twg role? Vanilla meaning a role that usually appears in any regular game.

I'm not asking for any claim here, just seeing everyone operating under the assumption we're dealing with our everyday normal twg roles when that could be completely wrong is odd

Also, as far as 3rd party, I'd like to reiterate I think solving this game backwards is essential to the direction we need to find;
meaning, again, if V comes in right now and says his wincon is to eliminate another 3rd party member, than I would say 18-2= possible pool. If he says the person he needs to eliminate has not been distinguished as town or otherwise, than I think focusing on V is even more pertinent

that hinges on the concept that he could be lying about 3rd party altogether

And that all comes back to my gun theory. I dont like the idea of 3 possible guns killing 3 possible targets tonight. Even if dance and charu said "oh rzr we're gonna kill your top wolf suspects" I think the likelihood of having 2 guns, an obvious 3rd party, and a presumable wolf killing power are unlikely, and that someone in that pool is scum

That is something you guys can't beat around. We don't need to learn everyone's objective to narrow the pool, and I think the possibility of claiming is far too easy for the wolves to do, so in fact paying attention to these claims seems more important than anything besides a flip
