I'm pulling my hair out trying to configure this codebase in the scala IDE

build paths and whatnot

some jar must not be included in the build path, but not sure specifically what to use

I'm guessing most of them are project config problems

I am wholly unconvinced botchi is town actually, that's funny

I find basically all of the bolded lines from rzr difficult to have come from town. he's looking for slips, he's nervous about people who have not posted a single time, he'll be the first to vote for someone if they don't do xyz...???

this could come down to a difference in philosophy - in mafia there area always significantly more town than mafia. it is therefore more likely that any random player is town than mafia. I approach the game knowing that town are easier to find and seeing things here and there that support the premise that any random person I am interacting with is usually town. rzr seems to be approaching it very differently in that many people could be scum.

however imo it's less this and more the fact that he seems to have TMI and thoughts/beliefs about peoples alignments that I find impossible to have come from a town.

Reasoning:

Tokzic: unconvinced of humanity, but get no wolf vibes at all.

All NULL W/O: Have not posted, or if they have I didn't notice

Scum Lean: storn because of minimal posting, but they have decent quality. Just bad vibes atm. botchi I think would love to have the excuse to play dumb as scum, and I'm not going ot give him that.

Town leans: AA because thus far he's acted his normal game like last time, charu cuz I'm not getting the wolf vibes I know him to have (yet), gradiant simply in contrast to who I do find scummy. I will re evaluate him.

scum pile: round because his posts thus far are reminiscent of last game, but there have only been a few. DLGN cuz he's role hunting, but am watching him closely atm rather than place my vote since I see round as a bigger threat.

All that said, I don't feel great about a dlgn/roundbox team there.

when he's not coming at someone with preconceived notions he's basically accusing them of not posting a lot in the earliest stages of the game.

more than any of those individual points, however, is the simple fact that VIRTUALLY EVERY SINGLE READ CAME WITH A DISCLAIMER OR CONDITIONAL. not a single one was something that wasn't flimsy and easy to flip on. i'd suggest they almost are phrased in a way that makes it seem that he expects to be flipping on them.

you can know these concerns were going through my mind at the time because i immediately followed up about it by asking questions to try and get at how rzr approaches the game:

I do me and I never follow wagons. I stuck on round almost whole game last time and he was wolf, and I was the only one saying it. I've also steered some shitty scenarios where I called someone a wolf, people agreed, and we lynch a human. I don't think that I am a town leader, nor do I think there should be one. Playing folow the leader will only kill original thoughts and susicions that we really need atm

it just seems like he is trying to take a blameless approach, one that expects most others to be scummy, one that includes feelings about too many people that I do not think should even be on or crossing his mind.

for that reason I find him to be incredibly scummy and a very good vote, regardless of what you think about my proposal and activity in this game so far (which has been pretty extensive and open with anybody and everybody willing to interact, imo)

also if it makes any difference about what I said early in the game I hardclaim vanilla villager. setting a trap to get 2 or more people to claim HG to me when I am one myself was not my idea, as it's clear some people were considering.

I was a bit vague in some of my posts because I was trying to avoid claiming VT and eliminating the possibility that I could be a HG (as it would narrow down the potential field for mafia), but that was not considering that the mafia have very little means of targeting kills (just the one kill they can target from people who hide in the movie theater on one night.)

I have thought relatively less about night actions than I have about how I would approach this game during the day. I am most interested in uniting the two HG's without them having to out to many people if they were interested in finding each other. I think that them being aware of each other could be potentially very powerful and if they agree I hope they read me town and take me up on it, but I won't be too broken up about it if that's not the case.
