Possible solution to miss system issue

COMPLAINT: "The miss system is annoying - it counts as a miss if you hit an arrow that doesn't exist!"
JUSTIFICATION: "If that wasn't the case, you could mash the keypad and FC every song, because there's no such thing as a Good or a Boo in FFR."

SOLUTION: Add a Boo rating to FFR. This won't work like it does in DDR.

-Boo appears only when you hit an arrow key and the game does not register it as hitting the correct arrow. Miss appears when the arrow slips by without being hit at all.
-Boo adds no points to your score. It takes no points away, either.
-Boo does not break your combo.
-At the end of each song, the amount of boos is subtracted from your max combo. But the combo was never broken by the boo. So, if you get 100 hits, then a boo, then 100 hits, and that's your max combo, it counts as being 199 Combo (200 hits - 1 boo.) This is a lot nicer than your max combo being 100.

i agree we should add the boo rating to this game sometimes it really IS annoying because when theres a long pause im used to just messing around with the keys n stuff or sometimes i just accidentally press it n it says miss that is really annoying =/

Everyone realizes that if i change any aspect of the scoring system, I am gonna have to delete all the high scores to be fair.. Right?

I am considering a few options.

Dleting scores is good. We need a reset sometime soon, anyways.

I personally don't know how some of those scores are so high since the sync is off on every song.

Most of them are HAX. And a Boo would be great. It shouldn't do anything to your life as said above, but it should destroy your combo. Afterall, BOO!!!

Working on a mix of a system between the one mentioned about and Nestlekwik's idea.. The miss system will change. It won't be exactly like DDR but it will be something.
