ok cool my laptop crashed, time to resummon the last 20 minutes of typing i guess

I was out today and only dipped into the thread to skim a few times. The big thing that stuck out to me was the YoshL/Zenith interactions. Even first read, something about the exchange felt forced. Reviewing it, I think there's a wolf in the pair, but I'm having a hard time on who.

As other people have mentioned, Zenith is very self-conscious, which is strange for town. Particularly, I don't like the post where he said he had a hard time deciding whether to deflect the votes he's got or to form a new wagon. That feels like wolf thinking. Town should just want to find wolves, even if there are a bunch of wrong votes on them.

But the timing of everything makes me think YoshL. The votes on Zenith had already accrued when YoshL began laying into hiim, but nobody else hopped on after he attacked. After a while with no change, YoshL backs off without any explanation besides "ok i think i'm reading him correctly now". It feels like a red seeing if he can get another human or two on a bad wagon so his friends can finish the job, then cutting his losses before he's in too deep.

I feel like Zenith's self-consciousness can be explained by his last game but I can't stop feeling uneasy about YoshL.

yea, something is fishy. he just came back after making a few shitposts in the beginning of the game and now that he is back he's only just started making posts and continued to shitpost, even though he probably has more to say that what he's posted so far.

I think the whole thing was a leadup to him posting a picture of a cat in a box instead of his role PM, but I might be wrong.

Tokzic if it will ease your mind about my self-consciousness earlier, the reason why is because naturally as a town I am very observant of not only others but myself in particular, because I do not want to intentionally make a scummy post or even possess scumworthy qualities; it goes against my alignment to be wolfread and I am trying to preserve any prevention I can conjure on being wolfread.

However, I notice it is heavily attributed that VTs are solely hunting wolves, when at this current phase (D0) I think it pays off more to try not being wolfread because naturally some suspicion will develop betwixt interactions via players or a single player. As a VT here, I would very much like to not be wolfread in D0 as best as I can and if I successfully hunt a wolf down in D0 or even in D1 then I've done well enough to earn a keep in being considered strong town.

Still a chance we mislynch and I know I'm pseudo-jinxing us by saying this but this is the phase where it happens most!
