I was a wolf before the reroll. The wolf pm did not have the partner roles in it. If you reread pop with this information in mind, he basically assumes that wolves do know each of their partner roles (or something, can't remember) and that made me decide he was town.
Proof that I've been thinking this for a long time is my post a while back that said "You guys are bad at not angleshooting" because I read the whole phase with that in mind (after it was over and I came back), and I had to forcibly stop myself from making other reads based on you guys DISCUSSING whether or not wolves knew each other's roles.
