Re: FFR Standalone!
alright, probrem with this that i cant seem to solve:
on some notes that i try to press, it pretty much ignores the input and the arrow just kinda passes by... generally happens on anything above 50. ive tested it out on plenty of songs that ive AAA'd/memorized and it does the same thing. ive tried the suggestions listed on the first page, cleared my cache, messed with offset settings, etc. anyone know how to fix? |

Re: FFR Standalone!
When you say 50, are you talking about the frame rate?

Re: FFR Standalone!
What version of Flash Standalone are you using and what OS does your desktop have?

I don't know what the deal was, but I got unsubscribed from this thread. I've re-subscribed so now when someone comments I'll actually know.

Re: FFR Standalone!
What if what we're running on doesn't have access to IE, eg. a Chromebook, can we still log in there somehow or am I just going to deal with not being able to record scores?

Re: FFR Standalone!
Logging in via the game should work for each version now for recording scores; it's more saving replays that has the issue of not being able to save (at least for the legacy engine). Perhaps it's something we can revisit but at this time I don't know a workaround really unless you can download IE on a Chromebook (perhaps https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...kndeccohnpcoce just to log in, then leave it? I don't know if that app caches the data the way the standalone expects it to be stored though, so I can't testify to it... or test it for that matter. If you do test it, let me know).
Sorry I can't be more help on this.

Re: FFR Standalone!
Ah, well as long as it saves scores I'm chill with it, I'm not making any recordbreaking plays anytime soon, so I don't mind. Thanks though.

Re: FFR Standalone!
Is anyone else having trouble loading the R^3 standalone? The velocity and legacy work, but not the R^3 ones. I have tried using multiple url's, both from this thread and the EMG thread, but they don't work for me. Whenever I try to load the R^3 engine, nothing happens and the window stays white.

Re: FFR Standalone!
Sorry, I meant to say that I am having trouble with the R^3 FFRMania engine and the R^3 EMG Engine. The official R^3 engine in standalone works fine, as well as the Legacy and Velocity versions of the FFRMania and EMG engines. When I try to load the R^3 FFRMania standalone or the R^3 EMG standalone, nothing happens and the standalone flash player (flash 16) stays white. I tried again and the mouse changed to the busy symbol for a second, but then nothing happened after that.

Re: FFR Standalone!
Hi people,
I'm back playing FFR after a few years, and now I cannot get the game to run smoothly. About every 30 seconds, I get a small framerate drop which makes it hard to PA consistently. I am on Windows 7, running the Flash 16 Standalone, R^3 engine, set to 60 fps. I have tried every single standalone version, but there doesn't seem to be any difference. I tried hardware accelleration on/off, and some different settings in my NVIDIA control panel, but no difference. Does anyone recognize these problems and know a fix? |

Re: FFR Standalone!
Hopefully someone else can weigh in with a solution, but I'm running Windows 8 now and lag regardless of what I do/use now as well.
