Hey! Sorry to keep you waiting. I'm new to hosting tournaments so I sought out some advice on your question. Apparently there are a lot of ways that a single thread can be organized:

1. All of the posts are titled by the Thread Title they had at that time. So, if I go ahead and change the title for each round, the posts can be searchable by round.
2. You can search by username, so it may be advantageous to have everything in one thread for that.

There are also some usability issues:
1. I don't feel like making seven threads, which I think technically would all have to be approved.
2. Players may get confused and post scores in the wrong thread.

In total, I plan to keep with the traditional one-thread route.
